Date: Friday, July 5, 2013
Location: Ann O’Malley’s, 23 Orange Street, St. Augustine, FL 32084
Coinciding with St. Augustine’s First Friday Artwalk, the Anonymous Society of Artists will hold its regular monthly meeting at 6pm this evening at Ann O’Malley’s Deli & Pub near the City Gates on Orange Street. On the table for discussion (beside our beer and wine glasses) are upcoming opportunities to show art including The Red Sable’s “Je ne regrette rien” exhibit on August 31st and G.R.E.A.T. Rescue’s “Show Some Heart!” fundraiser on July 20th. Also, those who have missed Jean at our last few drawing and painting events may also catch up with her now that she’s back home again.
After the meeting we’ll head out to see what’s new on the local art scene. One recommended destination is PASTA Gallery where our friend Jim Christley will be showing new paintings from a new series which emphasizes the serenity of the sea. Also at PASTA, one of their featured artists for the month, Pat Hitchcock, will be showing a piece our artists will recognize as scenic view from Shore Drive Boat Ramp walking path.
Whether you’re a new subscriber to our email list or a familiar face, we would be delighted to see you tonight at the pub!
