American Impressionism Exhibit opens Saturday at Brilliance in Color Gallery
On Friday, October 19, Main Street Ormond Beach and Ormond Beach Arts District (OBAD) will be sponsoring “Art Ride on the Loop.” The event will allow motorcycle riders who pay an admission fee to meet some of Florida’s finest plein-air artists along Ormond Beach’s “Loop” Arts District. Proceeds from the event will benefit Main Street Ormond Beach, a Florida 501(C) 3 not for profit organization.
The event will have two starting locations, one in the early morning and another in the afternoon. The early morning ride will meet at L. A. Bistro. Staging will be at 9:00am and the riders will leave at 10:00am. The late morning ride will meet at Lulu’s, stage at 11:00am and leave at 12:00am. The fee for riders is $25 per person per ride, or $40 per person for both the morning and afternoon rides. Both rides will follow along the scenic Loop, stop at Fairchild Oak and Highbridge Park and then end with food and snacks.
Plein air artists wishing to participate in this event are invited to contact Trish Vevera, a Plein Air Artists of St. Augustine (PAASA) member.
